Photography FAQs

When can I expect to receive my gallery?

I try to get the portrait sessions out between 2-3 weeks, and larger events (weddings/elopements) between 6-8 weeks. You will receive your “sneak peek” photos within 48 hours of the session to enjoy while I work on your gallery.

Do I need to tag you in your photos on my social media?

This is not required, but is greatly appreciated! As a small business owner, I receive most of my clients through word of mouth, and your support on social media is greatly valued.

How long will my portrait session last?

While I do not have a set time limit for my sessions, you can expect to spend anywhere from 40 min up to 2 hours with me, depending on your location and any special requests. I value my time with my clients and do not limit my creative process by time restrictions. I will show you the images from my camera screen to make sure you are satisfied with the photos before we end the session.

Do I need to have references for the kind of photos I want?

You are more than welcome to send me references or a Pinterest board prior to the session, but you are not required to do so. I will guide you throughout the session to achieve your vision and will ensure that you are getting the images you want. Every couple and individual is different, and I do my best to tailor the session to your needs and personality!

Can I get the RAW files?

Nope. I do not, and will not, send RAW files of my work to anyone. This is to ensure that my work is reflective of me, and not anyone else. You are also not allowed to edit my photos after I send them out. You have the option to ask me to re-edit 10 of your images if you are not fully satisfied. Just let me know and I am happy to accommodate that!

Can you photoshop me?

Can I? Yes. Will I? No. I will edit out the obvious blemish/acne spots that you tried so hard to heal before photo day, but other than that I do not edit/adjust your body. Every human is beautiful in their own way and I will do my best to pose you in a flattering manner (I will show you images from my camera screen throughout the session to ensure that you’re happy!).

Are you LGBT-friendly?

Absolutely! Love is love, I’m just happy to be there to capture it all!
